car hire fokers

sorry for the obsenity but they deserve it. so we hired a car to do a trip around namibia it came with 200 km a day milage (why is it still called milage) all well and good but we may have gone over that limit a little bit (maybe by about 1600km) so to get the cost dow in woulod be cheaper to pay for extra days but return it on the same day which apparently can't be done and so we would have to pay the extra milage cost. this was of course untill i pointed out to the guy that it would therfore work out cheaper for me if the car where to get stolen and i just pay the insurance excess. The talk of accidentally"losing the car must have scared him a bit as the manager came out and after a while we came to a deal where by the car would remain unstolen and she would give us some extra free miles.
